Mr. Brett has led PetroSkills since 2000 and was instrumental in the creation of the PetroSkills Alliance.  He is recognized worldwide as an expert and leader in the area of Petroleum Project Management and Petroleum Training, and has spoken professionally and conducted scores of seminars in over 32 countries on five continents.  Mr. Brett has received many honors, has authored or co-authored over 30 technical publications, has published a book titled Organizational Learning – the 24 Keys to High Performance, and has been granted over 28 U.S. and International patents.   Mr. Brett is a registered Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional.  Mr. Brett holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and physics from Duke University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, an M.S.E. from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
