In January 2006, BV Investment Partners partnered with Steve Kent to form New Track Media. Since its inception the Company has made several acquisitions in the niche consumer hobbyist sectors including: Sky Publishing, the leading publisher in the astronomy category; Fons & Porter, a leading publisher of quilting magazines and producer of related television programming; American Woodworker, an established woodworking magazine and related book program; Keepsake Quilting, a direct marketer of supplies serving quilting, knitting, and needlework enthusiasts through several branded catalogs; Woodwork magazine; and launched Quilters Club of America, an affinity marketing business as well as a sewing special issue. Most recently New Track purchased CKMedia, which serves the quilting, sewing, and scrapbooking markets through a portfolio of nine magazines as well as online properties and events.

Stephen J. Kent is President and CEO of New Track Media LLC. Prior to New Track, Mr. Kent was President and CEO of F+W Publications, a leading publisher and affinity marketer of special interest magazines, books, book clubs and conferences. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kent was in brand management with Procter & Gamble and then spent approximately 15 years acquiring and building a range of venture-backed businesses based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Kent received his B.A. from Vassar College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
