The Firm was founded in 1983 with a simple premise, that deep knowledge of its industry sectors and a disciplined investment strategy focused on growing companies, will lead to differentiated returns.  Through seven funds, and three decades, the Firm and its predecessor, Boston Ventures Management, LLC, have successfully executed on that strategy with over $2.6 billion of capital commitments.

BV Investment Partners has acted as the lead investor in notable portfolio companies, including: Billboard Publications, Decision Resources, Marshall & Swift, Television Station Group,  Vue Entertainment, and World Publications.
